Choose the configuration around the product.
- Single-SKU packs: Repeat one product at a defined unit count.
- Mixed-SKU packs: Combine a fixed quantity of each variant in every finished pack.
- Travel or routine formats: Explore a convenient grouping for the intended use, without assuming a dosage schedule, “days of supply” or a universal pack size.
What needs to work together.
Contents: Unit dimensions and shape, count per pack, product variants and available stock.
Packaging: Supplied or proposed outer materials, internal space, arrangement and closure method.
Presentation: Approved labels, artwork, coding location and the finished-pack appearance.
Handover: Finished-pack count, outer carton requirements and destination.
See the arithmetic before you scope the run.
Illustrative calculation only.
2,000 multipacks × 30 sealed sticks = 60,000 base sticks.
Alternative mix: 10 × SKU A + 20 × SKU B per pack requires 20,000 A and 40,000 B.
“30 sticks” is a quantity example. It is not a dose recommendation, a 30-day claim or confirmation that a proposed pouch will fit.
Samples, rejects and contingency are additional quantities to be agreed.
What to share for review.
- Whether products are already individually sealed
- Unit type, dimensions and representative samples when requested
- Units per pack, finished packs and the per-SKU mix
- Who supplies the outer packaging
- Artwork/coding status and any required labels
- Destination and requested timing
When to start with a pilot.
If the pack is tight, the arrangement is unresolved or the closure and assembly method are uncertain, define a pilot question before fixing the production configuration. A trial can assess its agreed scope; it does not establish shelf life or regulatory compliance by itself.
Before you brief the work
Do you provide standard pack sizes?
Use the planner to propose the count you need. A shown example is not a stock pack size; suitable materials and fit must be reviewed.
Can a multipack contain different flavours or variants?
A fixed SKU mix can be proposed. The planner checks the per-pack sum; stock for each variant still needs verification.
Can you supply and print the outer packaging?
Tell us what is already ready and what needs sourcing. Material, sourcing and print requirements must be scoped before a quote is confirmed.
